General Rules
.Unless Stated in the class rules a minimum Ground clearance of 1.5mm shall apply.
Bodies shall not have the wheel arches cut or enlarged to clear the tyres.
No silicone tyres allowed at all.
All cars shall have an interior with a 3 dimensional driver. no paper interiors
Guide pivot will not be moved unless allowed in the class.
Weight shall be mounted on top of the chassis within the body unless stated other wise.
Race Series will usually be over 7 Races with best 6 counting.
One car to be used for Series,unless other wise stated in rules.
NB
Now we have a track with magnetic braid all cars must have any magnets ( other than those Inside the motor)removed.
This will be checked at the start of each series and each night at Gotham Park.
Only exemption is Rally cars as the will not run on Gotham Park track.

2022 Fly Truck Series

- Body
a) No modifications to the body are allowed unless otherwise specified.
b) Bodies may be no wider than 72 mm, excluding mirrors, at the widest part.
c) If white body kit is used, exterior of body must be painted with at least one coat of paint (no clear coat only on white plastic).
c-1) Any paint, decals and markings may be used.
c-2) Both “fantasy liveries” and accurate reproductions of real trucks are encouraged.
d) Racing numbers are required one on each side of cab. NOTE returning trucks will get first pick of the numbers they used before.
e) Bodies must be removable to allow inspection and photography prior to the first race, and to allow maintenance and repair during the race series.
f) Stock interior including windshield must be used and not removed or lightened by grinding, cutting out of interior.
f-1) Interior may have added detail by painting, and or adding cab lighting.
g) Truck mirrors are not required and can be removed to prevent breaking or can be modified to reduce breakage in the case of a deslot.
h) Required body details such as trailer hitch, head lights, tail lights, engine, exhaust etc must be as stock prior to inspection (Now what falls off or breaks after starting may be left off).
i) Truck Cab and body posts and other parts may be glued and reinforced with appropriate material. Body can float
The First Style Buggyra is not permitted to race Only the recent release new style Buggyra ( looks like the Susi body Style.
2. Chassis
a) Stock chassis, specific to the truck model is required.
b) Styrene, carbon Fiber or other suitable material may be used to stiffen chassis. Recommended for the MAN as the Chassis twists.
c) Chassis may be sanded or ground down where gear clearance is needed, tires rub wheel well or to reduce body chatter.
d) Underside of truck chassis and body must clear track road surface (not rails), on level track, by 1.6 mm minimum.
d-1) Hold down screw hole or magnet pocket on underside of chassis may be sanded flush with chassis bottom.
d-2) Gears may sit lower than 1.6mm, but trucks may be excluded from racing if gears contact the track or rails, or track owner judges them a hazard to track or rails.
e) Indented area on bottom of chassis behind guide on many of the chassis may be filled in using plastic or other suitable filler but cannot interfere with guide movement.
f) Magnets other than the motor are not allowed.
3. Motor
a) Motors must be stock, as manufactured, but may be run-in prior to this race series.
b) Motor maybe glued in place with appropriate adhesive or taped in place.A hole or hole scans also be drilled in the motor bracket and 2mm screws used to hold the motor.
Note: In keeping with 1:1 truck racing in which trucks are limited in speed, motors will be limited to the motors listed below. No other motors may be used.
f) Approved FK-180 Motors:
f-1) Fly Racing Components, Truck Original (Part #79119): 15,400 RPM/12v, 200 gcm/12v, 7.65W/12v.
f-2) Fly Rally 1 (Part #79600): 14,960 RPM/12v.
f-3) JP Slot (Part #MM18120): 16,216 RPM/12v, 195gcm/12v, 7.9W/12v.
f-4) NINCO NC-2: “black label” 14,676 RPM/12v; “red label” 14,298 RPM/12v.
f-5) NINCO NC-5: 16,216 RPM/12v.
f-6) NINCO NC-7: 15,630 RPM/12v, 215 gcm/12v, 8.4W/12v.
f-7) NSR King (Part #3011) 16,800 RPM/12v, 211 gcm/12v, 8.9W/12v.- Scalex Trucks can use above or Scalex motor as supplied
4. Pickup Guides and Braids
a) Original Guide or other appropriate one may be used with or without a spring.
b) Washers or suitable spacers may be used on guide to limit travel.
c) Guide hole may be reinforced.
d) Motor wires may be soldered or glued into guide.
e) Braids are free choice.
5. Weights and Ballasts
a) Lead weight or other suitable weight maybe added to the interior of chassis or bottom of chassis.
a-1) Weight cannot interfere with minimum chassis height (1.6mm).
6. Gears
a) Crown gears and pinions are free choice.
7. Wheels
a) Stock wheels or upgraded aluminum wheels made “truck sized” such as the ones made by NSR (Front #5007, rear #5008), MB Slot (front #MB19010, rear #MB19011) or Avant (front & rear #AV-20755) and Pro Track are allowed..
a-1) Deviations to this rule may be allowed provided the truck still maintains it’s “truck like” appearance.
b) Aluminum wheels can be left bare or painted to match the truck color scheme.
c) Inserts if used must appear “truck like” (wire spoke or 3 spoke inserts, etc, are not allowed).
8. Axles
a) Any size axle is allowed.
b) Ball bearings are not allowed.
c) Metal or plastic bushings are allowed.
d) Bushings may be reinforced and glued in place with appropriate adhesive.
e) Front axle mounts may be reinforced with tubing or appropriate material, wheel blocks and or bushings.
e-1) SCC's adjustable front axle mounts are allowed and encouraged.
f) Plastic or metal washers may be used on axles for spacing as required.
9. Tires
a) Stock tires may be used or appropriate sized urethane or rubber tires.(No Foams) Singles are permitted
b) Silicon tires are not allowed
c) Tires may be trued and glued in place with appropriate adhesive.
d) At tech inspection prior to first race, tire minimum diameter must be 24mm for front AND 24.5mm for the rear.
d-1) In no case will the rear tires be smaller than the front ones.
e) Tires must be fully under the fenders. No tire may project beyond body work, as viewed from above, at maximum side travel of wheels. If using stock wheels the hub of the wheel can stick out but not the rubber. (Like some stock trucks)
10. General-
a) Anything that is not expressly permitted is considered to be prohibited unless it is posted on the open forum for all to see and decided on. ASK if in doubt.
2022 Rally Car Series
OZ rally Proxy Rules
As per the recent Rally Series each racer can run any car during the entire
series. Configuration changes during the series are permitted in line with these
rules.
Rally cars built after 1997 ( WRC) and based on 2 or 4 door sedan cars. 4WD
compete in this class if the front drive is disconected.
Stock body as provided by the original manufacturer. {No podded chassis) May be repainted. Must
have racing numbers.
Stock interior as provided by the original manufacturer. May be repainted.
Stock “glass” as provided by the original manufacturer.

Must reflect original ‘specification’ as provided by the original manufacturer.
Front end must be a single solid axle, but may be modified to reduce axle ‘float’.

Alloy wheels MUST have appropriate inserts
Any readily available rubber or Eurethane tyre. Silicon and sponge tyres are not permitted.
Must not extend past the bodywork.
Eurethane tyres are recommended.
Must use a guide! Extended guides are not permitted. “Easi-fit” contact style
guides i.e.. no wires, may be modified or replaced to use wires instead.

Everyone has been given a hand out with rules and some hints for set up.
They will be run almost standard with very limited modifications this year

2022 HMCC GT3 series

Aftermarket plastic, resin and fiberglass bodies are permitted, but they must be mounted on mass produced PLASTIC chassis from a donor car and must meet the chassis rules below.
All cars must carry at least 3 racing numbers, one on each side of the car and one on either roof, front window or bonnet. All cars must carry sponsor logos/names.
If using a car that was produced in slot car form as a road car only the car must be modified to represent the actual race car.
Required modifications include wheel arch bulges, rear wing and front air dam. Photos must be provided for this.

Sebring Chassis Historic Touring Car
Championship Rules 2022
Dave Bantoft
This class is based on the Revell/Monogram Sebring chassis. The body style shall be 4/6 cylinder touring cars up to early 1970's. These shall be cars that would typically have run in the Australian Touring Car Championship or other Touring car championships. IE European,British etc.. (Note: If anyone has any doubts about what car they intend to run please request approval well before the Championship starts. A standard body Porsche 911 is deemed acceptable).
Body
Aftermarket plastic, resin 3D printed and fiberglass bodies are permitted. Resin & fibreglass bodies are to be cast at a thickness acceptable to the organiser, i.e. no lightweight see through/flexible bodies. Mass produced plastic slot bodies may be modified too more closely resemble the cars. All bodies must be painted to represent schemes of the era, may be fictitious, and must have a minimum of three (3) racing numbers. No additional appendages, other than those fitted to cars as raced, are allowable. Additional appendages may be in vac form or sheet styrene provided the material used is NO thinner than .020".
Interior
As a minimum all cars must be equipped with a minimum 0.015? styrene interior, either vacformed or scratchbuilt. All interiors shall be complete with a three dimensional driver (minimum head & shoulders). Full depth interiors ARE NOT compulsory.
Motor
As the MRRC motor is no longer available an alternative to the stock motor, if required, shall be the SRP 20,000.
Chassis
Stock Sebring chassis. Chassis is not to be extended further than the stock chassis can extend. NB the rear axle bearing should be lowered 1.5mm to INCREASE ground clearance on the MRRC chassis, offset bearings to achieve this are acceptable, replacement bronze or brass bearings are acceptable.
Tube or brass /bronze or p[lastic bearing can be used to locate the front axle
It you happen to have a later chassis with only one axle position the front axle can be moved back in the chassis,BUT it cannot be any further than 12mm behind the guide pivot.The guide pivot cannot be moved.
After modification chassis clearance shall be no less than 1.2mm.
Track
Maximum track is as supplied on the King Cobra chassis i.e. 48mm. Track may be narrowed if required.
Gearing
Gearing as there appear to be two different stock ratios.
9/27 and 10/27 both are acceptable.
Wheels
MRRC 034987 (3/32?, 13.6 * 6.8) may be fitted in lieu of stock wheels. Wheels and tyres must be covered by bodywork when viewed from above.
Tyres
Stock tyres as supplied or urethane tyres with a maximum width of 6.8mm only. Front tyres may be clear coated. Minimum tyre diameters shall be:
Front 18mm; and
Rear 19mm.
Guide Flag
Stock, guide position is not to be altered. If a replacement guide is required it must be the same dimensions as the stock guide.
Some of the later chassis kits have a slightly deeper guide that is acceptable.
Weight
Weight may be added below the stepped up sides of the chassis but must not protrude lower than the lowest part of the chassis. No weight limit applies.
Race Format
Normal seven (7) week series, one nominated car only.
2022 1970;s F1 Series

Scalex Legend cars from 1970 are eligible, BUT need the motor changed.
SRC cars also require the motor changed.
Eligible motors are Fly and SRP 20,000 RPM.
Policar to be evaluated BUT will require a motor change.
Modifications
Weight may be added ? not under chassis as per usual rules. Upper weight of 85 grams.
Motor must be as originally supplied or equivalent SRP 20,000 RPM
The chassis must have been produced as a 1970?s F1 car. You cannot use a 1980?s F1 model to produce a 1970?s F1. All chassis must be plastic, injection moulded, mass produced.
Original motor mount and rear axle mountings must be retained.
Front end may be modified with plastic or resin. Front axle may be fixed.
All cars must run with rear or front and rear wings and interior / driver.
Width
Fly March rear track and front track width is maximum allowed except for standard Fly Williams.
Fly Williams may run with standard track dimensions as long as original transmission set up is run. If modifying drive train the car must conform to Fly March front and rear track width.
Track is measured outside tyre to outside tyre. Bruce?s March is the template for measurement.
A minimum ground clearance of 1.2mm clearance from the lowest protrusion on the chassis to the track surface is required.
Tyres
All tyres must be rubber.
Motor
Standard Fly motor is maximum specification allowed in terms of rpm and torque.
Bodies
Mass produced plastic from slot car manufacturer or resin. Must be accurate and not a thingie. Vac form not allowed. Must look like a representative car from the 70?s and carry 3 numbers.
Race Format
All events to be run at 10 volts ? second click on voltage adjustor thing.
All heats to be 3 minutes duration.

2022 Group A. Touring cars
Body
Aftermarket plastic, resin and fiberglass bodies are permitted, but they must be mounted on PLASTIC slot car chassis from a donor car and must meet the chassis rules below. Mass produced plastic slot bodies may be modified too more closely resemble the cars. Vac-form windows are permitted.
Interior
The car must have an interior that includes a 3-D dashboard and driver. Vac-form interiors are permitted.
Motor
Ninco and SCX cars can be converted to accept a Mabuchi S-can style motor.
Motors of no higher spec than the following:
Ninco NC-5 or equivilent 18,000 rpm Long can
SCX Pro Turbo/Pro Turbo Plus
Scalex and Scalex sport and equivalent S-can such as Fly etc rated at 18,000RPM
Scaleauto SC14 can be used as a replacement in the Ninco Sierra.
Chassis
Must reflect original ?specification? as provided by the original manufacturer. (i.e. freewheeling front wheels or fixed as per original.) Front end may be modified to reduce axle ?float?. Alternative bearings may be fitted front and rear although the axle line at the rear must be as per original manufacture. Position of the motor may not be moved, ie cannot be lowered or moved forward or rearward.
No Chassis with a pod is allowed.
Max width front & rear 54mm (outside edge of wheel to outside edge of wheel)
Wheels
Any production wheel readily available. Aluminium wheels or similar are permitted
on the rear
Tyres
Rubber or eurethane tyres only must be used. NO sponge tyres permitted at all.

HISTORIC NASCAR RULES
Rhys
For Carrera and Revell/Monogram NASCAR racers up to and including the 1970 model year.
Resin Bodies can be used BUT Must be mounted on Revell/Mongram or Carrera chassis
RULES: Can modify car to make it go properly, but cannot spend lots of money on it.
ie No ball races,roller bearings etc.Plastic gears .
Can alter ride height (as standard cars are high and narrow), but must still have 1.2mm clearance.
Can replace rear tyres (no spongies though), but should retain 3D driver and interior, original chassis, wheels, gear, axles, guide, and motor.
Rear wheel can be replaced with SCC Nascar wheels.

2022 NARROW CAN-AM SERIES
Rhys
1/32 scale Can-Am cars up to 55 mm wide track.
This includes many 1966 - 1974 Can-Am style sports cars, earlier SCCA cars and Group 7 cars which would have been eligible for the Can-Am series.
Rules: No sponge rear tyres or goo.
Cars must have 1.2mm Clearance
Tyre OD front 17.5 mm Rear 18.5 mm Unless original car had smaller wheels and tyres, eg Shadow.
Hard plastic or resin body. (Not vac formed). Driver, interior and wings can be made of any material.
Format: Normal 3 minute heats.
